‘How many promises has Modi fulfilled?’

Congress leader and MUDA former president Ibrahim Kodijal has asked how many assurances in the BJP’s manifesto for the last parliamentary elections have been fulfilled.

He was addressing the media at the District Congress Committee office in Mangaluru.

Kodijal said that he had seen the working styles of all prime ministers of India, starting with Jawaharlal Nehru. “None of them, however, has been as dictatorial as the current prime minister Narendra Modi. His promises have turned out to be false. People should think if they need a ‘chowkidar’ like him. It is the administrative prowess and not the speeches that counts,” explained Kodijal.

He further said, “On the other hand, the MP of the region, too has failed to deliver the projects such as the flyovers at Pumpwell and Thokkottu as well as the Shiradi Road development work.”

Kodijal stated that the nation needs a young prime minister like Rahul Gandhi and Dakshina Kannada needs a young MP like Mithun Rai.
