Kodagu DC on 2-month leave

After accelerating the administrative mechanism, Kodagu Deputy Commissioner P I Sreevidya has gone on a two month leave, to take care of her ailing father.

Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer K Lakshmipriya will be the in-charge deputy commissioner for the timebeing.

Lakshmipriya has the responsibility to ensure that Kodagu Pravasi Utsav, which began in town on Friday, is successful. At the same time, the work on construction of 840 houses for the victims have to be completed before monsoon.

The in-charge deputy commissioner also has the responsibility to look into the preparations for the Lok Sabha polls.
