A 51-year-old labourer died after the branch of a silver tree fell on him, at Gowdalli on Friday.
The deceased is Venkatesh, a resident of Alekatte-Chowdlu.
The incident occurred when the branches of silver trees were cut in the estate of Prasanna.
Though Venkatesh was rushed to a hospital, he breathed his last en route.
