A tiger attacked cattle in Belluru village in Ponnampet taluk on Wednesday.
Two separate incidents were reported on Wednesday morning and afternoon.
The cattle belonged to Bachira Suja and Ittira Ravi of Belluru village.
Forest department personnel conducted a spot inspection.
Based on the CCTV footage obtained from Srimangala, the tiger is learned to be roaming about in the region.
The combing operation has been intensified by the forest department team at Belluru, Harihara, Tavalageri, T Shettigeri, Ballyamunduru, Konageri and Hudikere villages.
