Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati will visit the state twice, to campaign in favour of party candidates for the Lok Sabha elections.

Addressing mediapersons here on Thursday, BSP state secretary Arkalawadi Nagendra said, Mayawati would participate in rallies planned in south and north Karnataka on two different days and will seek people's support for the party candidates.

Mayawati will participate in a convention in Mysuru on April 10. The party workers convention will be held at Maharaja’s College grounds and around one lakh people are expected to attend, he said.

However, the date and the venue for her rally in north Karnataka is yet to be finalised, he said.
