Modi-Shah using BSY as a tool: C M Ibrahim

Last Updated 21 September 2018, 11:47 IST

Congress leader C M Ibrahim on Sunday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP national president Amit Shah were using former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa as a tool.

Speaking to reporters here, he said: "The Modi-Shah duo will sideline Yeddyurappa like how they sidelined L K Advani in the BJP. They will use Yeddyurappa till elections are over and will direct Anant Kumar Hedge to chase him."

He said he was sympathetic towards Yeddyurappa.

"Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will register a historic win in Badami. A few people, who dug up hills in Ballari, have come to Badami for digging up the hills. However, Badami voters won't let it happen. Every leader in the Congress is supporting Siddaramaiah," Ibrahim added.

He charged that Modi was concentrating on the development of the empires of Ambani and Adani.
