A court here on Saturday ordered to issue a non-bailable warrant against Medical Education and District In-charge minister S A Ramdas for failing to honour the summons related to a case.
Ramdas has been charged with taking out a procession of party workers in violation of the model poll code, while filing the nomination papers for the Assembly elections in 2008. Third City Civil Court judge Damayanti pronounced the order as the minister failed to depose before the court.
Earlier too, the Medical Education minister had been served with a similar warrant for failing to appear before the court in relation to the case of staging a blockade of train.
