JOIN USPost graduate student Nandigam Manideep (28), a resident of Gandhinagar village in Sindhanur taluk, who died under mysterious circumstances at his hospital campus at New Jersey, USA, was laid to rest at his native place on Monday.
The body was brought to Hyderabad on Sunday night. It was taken to his native place during wee hours of Monday.
Manideep was a final year post graduate student at Saint Peter’s University Hospital and had begun practising in his last year of studies.
District incharge Minister Venkata Rao Nadagouda, former MLA Hampanagouda Badarli, ZP member Amaregouda Veerupapur and leaders of other parties visited the village and consoled the parents.
“My son never hurt anybody. He always topped in examinations. He had assured of taking me to New Jersey for the University convocation in June this year. He bid adieu before he could receive the convocation certificate,” a highly inconsolable Srinivas said.
