New sand policy next week

Karnataka will finalise a new policy next week to address the prevailing sand crisis, Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara said on Friday. Parameshwara, who chaired a meeting of a Cabinet sub-committee looking into the issue, told reporters that the new policy would be comprehensive in that it would cover several aspects pertaining to sand.
