No threat to govt: Venugopal

AICC general secretary incharge of Karnataka K C Venugopal on Saturday said there was no threat to the coalition government and that it would complete its full term.

Speaking to reporters, he said the Congress party had full confidence in its MLAs. None of the MLAs is leaving the party. The Opposition BJP has created confusions in state politics, he charged.

The BJP has been trying to woo the Congress legislators in order to topple the government. But the saffron party’s efforts will not yield result. The Congress leaders will sit and sort out all differences within the party, Venugopal said.

He said the Cabinet expansion would happen by this month end.
