The winning margin of two Congress heavyweights is actually less than the NOTA votes in their respective constituencies.
While the vote gap between outgoing minister H K Patil and his BJP opponent is 1,868 votes, the number of NOTA votes is 2,007.
Similarly, while the winning margin of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is 1,696 votes in Badami, the constituency recorded 2,007 NOTA votes.
