During the recent raids on the residences of BUDA President Gurulingana Gowda and Bhaskara Reddy, a relative of Janardana Reddy, the CBI had also intended to raid Venkatarama Reddy’s residence. However, it had to drop the plan as his address was not available.

The lorry, allegedly owned by Gali’s OMC, is from Poddatooru in Kadapa district where the relatives of the arrested Janardana Reddy and Srinivas Reddy reside.

The AP police, acting on the advice of the investigation agency, have been keeping an eye on the vehicular movement emanating from Bellary in Karnataka into the state. The cash stashed in three black travel bags was being transported in a truck (AP 04 X 9009) at Hanuman X roads in Guntakal.
