Jarkiholi complains to Rahul about state Cong leaders

Congress MLA Satish Jarkiholi (Yamakanamardi), who, along with his brother and Municipalities Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi, was recently in news for his turf war with Water Resources Minister D K Shivakumar, is said to have poured out complaints in front of his party chief Rahul Gandhi.

Sathish, who met Rahul at the Kumara Krupa guesthouse on Saturday, complained to Rahul about the attitudes of several state leaders, especially Shivakumar. KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao too was present in the meeting.

Sources said that Satish also broached names of senior leaders like Siddaramaiah and G Parameshwara.

The MLA also said that the trio did not even have the patience to hear out the party workers and leaders, which will make it difficult for the party to stay united.

Satish sought Rahul to accommodate a Valmiki community leader in the Cabinet. He is also said to have evinced his interest to contest the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
