The intensity of rainfall reduced in several parts of Mysuru region, however, showers continued to lash the City on Tuesday.
According to Karnataka State Natural Disaster and Monitoring Cell, rainfall was widespread in Mandya district during the day. Apart from a few taluks, rainfall was relatively spare in Mysuru district. Hassan and Chamarajanagar districts received negligible rainfall.
Maximum rainfall in the region was recorded in parts of Mysuru taluk, which received 56.5 mm of scattered rainfall. Rainfall was scattered in H D Kote and Periyapatna taluks, which received 50 mm and 25 mm, respectively. Rainfall was fairly widespread in Hunsur (35 mm) and T Narsipura (31 mm) taluks.
