Last Updated 22 January 2019, 04:56 IST

“Siddaganga seer Shivakumara Swamiji’s blood pressure showed signs of variation on Saturday night. He was treated for it and his BP is normal now. His lung infection has not reduced,” said Siddaganga Hospital head Dr Parmesh.

“The lung infection is just as it was on Saturday. He is being treated constantly. We expected the lung infection to reduce by Sunday. But the infection did not come down. As per the directions of Dr Subra of the Rela Institute and Medical Centre and Dr Ravindra of BGS Hospital, Swamiji’s antibiotic medication was changed,” Dr Paramesh told media people.

Dr Parmesh added that Swamiji’s protein level had increased from 2.5 to 3.0 and his lungs were being drained of the accumulated water.
