‘Skill development agencies in all dists soon’

Union Minister of State for Skill Development Anantkumar Hegde announced on Saturday that the Centre would set up district skill development agencies (DSDAs) in all districts.

He was speaking after inaugurating the skill training and job fair in the city. The respective deputy commissioners would keep tabs on the number of trainees who land jobs, the minister said.

Hegde critcised the state government for the delay in implementing the DSDAs and that the orders to this effect were yet to reach the respective deputy commissioners.
