State lad scores a centum in CAT 2018

As many as 11 candidates, including one from Karnataka, secured 100 percent in the CAT 2018, results of which were released on Saturday by Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta.

Kamal Karan (24) a B.Tech graduate and resident of Bengaluru is one among the five other toppers residing in Bengaluru. He secured 99.9%. “My main aim was to get through and join one of the IIMs in the country. There are more steps to come and this has created a new milestone in may career. This is first step of my dream. There are lot more to come,” he told DH.

Karan, native of Ahmedabad, is working as a functional analyst in a private firm in Bengaluru. He has secured 99.91 percentile with the VARC – 99.8, DILR – 99.4 and QA – 99.54 sectional scores. Other topper from TIME institutes Bengaluru are Fahad Thasim -99.47; Ishaan Mudgal – 99.6; Tushar Rawat – 99.02; Mitali Seth – 99.47 and Srikrishnan A – 99.2, as per the data released by TIME.
