JOIN USA female infant that was brought to the Shahapur burial ground under the impression that it was a still-born, shocked everyone by moving its limbs and proving that it was still alive. The incident occurred on Monday.
ACP (Market) Subdivision Shankar Marihal said, the employees of the Shahapur burial ground informed the police that the baby girl was brought by a 'Kannada speaking family of five men and one woman'.
They refused to reveal which hospital the baby was born in, or which place they come from. All they said was that the infant was born in a private hospital and was a still-born.
But as the grave diggers staff began digging, the baby started moving its limbs and thus proved it was still alive. When the grave diggers refused to bury the baby, the people who had brought it there, left the burial ground taking the infant with them.
"Efforts are being made to trace them," ACP Marihal said.
