Teacher dies of heart attack at Yoga event

A 49-year-old teacher died of heart attack during a Yoga Day event at Terdal, Banahatti taluk of Bagalkot district on Thursday.

The deceased, Vishwanath Biradar, was taking part in the event held on the premises of the J V Mandal institutions. He had taken part in the Yoga camp for the past few days and Thursday was the valedictory day. He had been serving as a maths teacher in the girls’ aided school section. Biradar hails from Indi in Vijayapura district and is survived by his wife and mother.
