JOIN US The Government Engineering College, Thrissur, won the Bengaluru qualifying round of The Sweden India Nobel Memorial Quiz 2016 held in the city on Friday.
The team of three members — Abhijith Narayan C N, Govind Menon and Sreeram C H did their college proud by winning the Bangalore finals in which 138 teams had participated. The event was organised by the Embassy of Sweden in India.
Apart from Bengaluru , the quiz will also be held in Pune, Indore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Guwahati and New Delhi. Winners of the Bengaluru round will participate in the National Finals to be held in New Delhi on October 7.
The national champions will win an all-expense paid trip to Sweden where they will visit the headquarters of global Swedish companies, Swedish Universities and the Nobel Museum, among others.
