Hassan SP transferred

The Election Commission on Thursday transferred Hassan Superintendent of Police A N Prakash Gowda and posted Chethan Singh Rathore.

The Election Commission of India approved the transfer following the recommendation from Karnataka State Electoral Officer.

Last week, the Election Commission had transferred Hassan Deputy Commissioner Akram Pasha and posted Priyanka Mary Frances.

Earlier the BJP had demanded the transfer of both Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police of Hassan district for free and fair elections.
