The ban movement of vehicles on Charmadi Ghat has been extended till September 14.
On August 29, the Ghat was opened for movement of light vehicles from 6 am to 6 pm. However, the deputy commissioner has withdrawn the order on the basis of the report submitted by Superintendent of Police Harish Pande, who conducted an inspection.
