Tusker kills one more farmer in Chitradurga district

The lone tusker that re-entered Karnataka borders near Holalkere in Chitradurga district, on Friday, has trampled one more villager to death.  

So far, elephant attacks in Karnataka have resulted in injury or death of seven victims in Thalikatte, Dummi, Bettakadur and surrounding forest areas.

The unfortunate victim of the latest jumbo attack has been identified as Galappa (45). Forest officials who discovered his corpse on Saturday morning have supposed that the incident might have occurred on Friday evening.
