The district police on Thursday arrested Nilaguli Padmanabh who had identified himself with the Naxal movement in the past.
The police arrested him when he came to a local court in connection with a case.
"There were two non-bailable warrants and two long pending cases against him and he has been arrested under the same," SP Lakshman Nimbargi said.
