UPP is Upendra's new party

Kannada actor Upendra’s will register his new political party - Uttama Praja Party (UPP) - with the Election Commission of India soon.

The name of the political party matches with “Uppi” as Upendra is popularly known. The missing “I” is dilebrate. The tag line of the party is Upendra telling his potential voters, “Because ‘I’ will have no place in Uttama Praja Party as it is by, for and of you.”

UPP is in the process of finalising modalities for those interested in joining the party. The party’s official website will be launched next week, sources said.
