'Missing' Cong MLA explains his absence

Athani MLA Mahesh Kumatalli who had skipped the Congress Legislative Party meeting asserted that he was in the Congress party and there was no question of him deserting the party.

Speaking to media persons, Kumatalli a staunch follower of sacked minister Ramesh Jarkiholi, clarified that he was certainly dissatisfied but had not raised any dissent adding that the party leaders would set right the difference and find solutions.

Kumatalli asserted that none including former minister Ramesh Jarkiholi would quit the party.

Giving a clarification for his absence at the CLP meeting, he said that he was suffering from a severe backache and was at Mumbai for treatment. He posted confidence that the ensuing JS(S)-Congress alliance will complete it's full term.
