Yeddyurappa calls HDK irresponsible politician

State BJP president B S Yeddyurappa, on Thursday, called Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy an irresponsible politician.

He was speaking at the thanksgiving programme for voters of Shikaripura Assembly constituency in the town. He said the chief minister was giving false promises to farmers. The state’s exchequer is empty. The government’s order on loan waiver has not reached the banks.

The chief minister is operating a transfers mafia sitting in a hotel rather than making an attempt to resolve the issues of people of the state in the Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru, Yeddyurappa said.

He said people were hit by drought in many taluks. But neither the ministers nor the officials visited drought-hit taluks.

Referring to the chief minister’s remark that he too had personal life, the BJP leader said if he had personal life, let him enjoy it.

“Why did he become the chief minister,” the BJP leader questioned. MP B Y Raghavendra and MLC S Rudre Gouda were present.
