Safety science students quiz
National Council of Science Museums and UL India, a safety science company, are organising National Safety Science Quiz 2015 for high school students during August-October 2015. The theme is “Safety in Everyday Life”. The written round for selection of students will be held at  Bengaluru and six other cities. Each participating school can send up to a maximum of 20 students from class IX to class XII. The top four students from each of the seven centres will then participate in further rounds of the quiz to be held at Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum (VITM), Bengaluru, during the last week of October. Language Development course
Brindavan Education Centre, Jayanagar, Bengaluru, is conducting a short course for teachers to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills in early language development of children from preschool to lower primary. The course is titled ‘Developing Literacy and Numeracy in Pre School years – a teacher  enrichment programme’. The certificate is given jointly from Brindavan Education Centre and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. It is a six-month course commencing in July 2015.
