Gadgets Weekly: iQOO Z11x, Optoma triple-laser RGB home theater and more

Technology companies iQOO, Vivo, and others launched computers, smartphones, accessories, and more this week (March 9-15, 2026).

. iQOO earlier this week unveiled the new Z11x series phone.

It comes with a 6.76-inch full HD+(2408×1080p) screen with 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1200 nits peak brightness, stereo speakers, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Type-C USB port, dual-SIM slots, infrared sensor and comes with IP68+IP69 water-and-dust-resistant rating in addition to MIL-STD-810H military durability certification.

It also houses a 4nm class MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo processor with Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, Android 16-based OriginOS 6, 6GB / 8GB LPDDR4x RAM, 128GB / 256GB (UFS 3.1) storage, and a 7,200mAh battery with 44W fast charging.

iQOO Z11x houses dual-camera module-- main 50MP (with Sony IMX852 sensor, f/1.8) + 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor with LED flash. It also comes with 4K video recording

It comes with a 32MP (f/2.45) selfie camera. Both the front and the back cameras can record 4K videos.

It comes in three variants-- 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage-- for Rs 18,999, Rs 20,999 and Rs 22,999, respectively.

.Xiaomi Pad 8 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 launched in India. After launching the Stack series magnet-based modular accessories for iPhones, Apple Watches, and Google Pixel phones, DailyObjects has expanded it to Samsung phones.

Marking the launch, it has introduced the Stack range of cover cases for Galaxy S26, S26 Plus and S26 Ultra. They come with Qi 2.2 standard, meaning the user does not have to remove the case for wireless charging.

It is expected to hit stores in India later this year, with prices around Rs 15 lakh if not more.

.Oppo teases Find N6 series with super-slim foldable phone design, crease-free screen. It comes with a 10,000mAh lithium polymer cell, and offers up to 20W wired fast charging and 15W magnetic wireless charging.

It also boasts a strong MegaSecure Magnetic Pad for stable wireless charging and supports a Type-C port for input and output.

The power bank includes protection against overcharging, overloading and short circuits, and features LED indicators for quick battery-level checks. It costs 3,499.

.March 2026: Top smartphones launching this month. Pearson India, in collaboration with Infinity Learn, has announced to offer Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) test series, to help aspiring engineering students prepare better for the competitive exams.
