Telangana youth missing since Jan 18

Telangana-based mining businessman Maruthi Prasad’s son Vinay who had come to Kodagu on a tour is missing since January 18. Telangana and local police are carrying out joint search operations for the youth.

Vinay left Sarur in Telangana state on January 17. He was to tour Bengaluru and Kodagu, but, he has been incommunicado since January 18. Vinay last spoke to his mother and brother on phone on the night of January 17.

Vinay’s car was spotted by police on Siddapur road on Wednesday night. Locals who saw the car parked on the road for three days informed the police.

Vinay’s mobile phone and a few documents were found inside the car. His whereabouts are unknown. Investigations are on.
