6 tech innovation platforms to unite Indian stakeholders: Prakash Javadekar

Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar launched six technology innovation platforms on July 02.

“Our problem is lack of innovation and, nation that innovates makes progress. Innovation in high-end technology is very important as it creates wealth and ensures 'Brain Gain', not 'Brain Drain’,” said Javadekar.

“The 6 technology innovation platforms are a real collaboration where industry comes with their problems and gather all stakeholders together. I am very sure that we have we have best talented minds and can claim that world’s 90% innovation must come from Indian brains. We are contributors, not owners in an innovation. These platforms will bring all Indian stakeholders together in right investment also partner by government,” he added.
