Civic officials thrashed by mob during anti-encroachment drive in Pune

Officials of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) were allegedly thrashed by a mob during an anti-encroachment drive on March 30. The encroachment drive was going on in the Dhanori area of Pune. Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has recently launched a massive drive to clear footpaths and encroached roads across the city.
