Country still remembers sufferings faced by people during partition: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 28 said that even after seven decades of Independence, the pain and sufferings faced by the people of India during the partition is remembered by the country. He said, “Whatever happened during and after the partition can be seen in every corner of the country and especially in Punjab. We have marked August 14 as Partition Horrors Remembrance Day.”
