Sitalkuchi firing: CID carrying out probe on Mamata's direction, alleges Suvendu Adhikari

On the CID probe into the Sitalkuchi firing incident, newly elected Leader of Opposition of West Bengal Assembly Suvendu Adhikari alleged that CID is carrying out a probe on the direction of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. “It does come under the purview of CID because CRPF and CISF come under Home Ministry. CID is doing it on the directions of Mamata Banerjee and TMC,” said Adhikari.
