India reports 35,499 new Covid cases, 447 deaths

On August 9, India reported 35,499 new Covid cases and 447 deaths. The active caseload currently stands at 4,02,188 while the recovery rate of the country is at 97.40%.

So far, 50,68,10,492 vaccine jabs have been administered in the country.
