Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam turns tourist hotspot

Tourist footfall is gradually increasing at famous hill town of Pahalgam in Anantnag district of South Kashmir as compared to last two years. A rush of tourists has brought a smile to the faces of people involved in the industry. Hoteliers, tour and travel operators, house-boat owners, boatmen, taxi operators were at receiving end of trouble due to Covid-19 last year. As the situation improves, tourists are choosing Pahalgam for its scenic mountains and snowfall. Pahalgam is situated over 2700 meter above sea level.
