J&K: Migrant labour shot dead by terrorists in Bandipora

A labourer who hailed from Bihar was shot dead by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora on August 12.

The attack took place around midnight at Soadnara Sumbal in Bandipore. The deceased has been identified as Mohd Amrez. After being shot Amrez, was rushed to the hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead.

Speaking about the incident, Amrez’s brother said, “Around 12.20 am my brother woke me up & said that a firing has started. He (deceased) wasn't around, we thought he went to toilet. We went to check, saw him lying in a pool of blood & contacted security personnel. He was brought to Hajin & later referred but he died.”
