LJP vs LJP: Chirag Paswan meets LS Speaker Om Birla

Lok Janshakti Party sidelined leader and MP from Bihar’s Jamui Chirag Paswan met Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on June 19. Factions of the party continue to battle led by Chirag Paswan and Pashupati Paras for the top post.

After the meeting, Chirag Paswan said, “I conveyed to him (LS Speaker Om Birla) the facts & urged him to review his decision of accepting one of the suspended LJP MPs, Pashupati Kumar Paras as leader of LJP in Lok Sabha. This is illegal and our party's constitution doesn't allow this.”
