Ahead of the Karnataka’s Cabinet expansion, Chief Minister of Karnataka Basavaraj S Bommai on August 2 met with the Bharatiya Janata Party’s national president, Jagat Prakash Nadda. He said, “I had a detailed discussion about government expansion with J P Nadda, ...explained to him about the ground situation in the state. We want to give a credible and proactive cabinet... By tomorrow night, they might give us the final list, it will be presented by the high command itself”.
