IMA President welcomes Centre’s move to vaccinate children aged 15-18 years

Following the Centre’s announcement of vaccination for children between 15-18 years on December 25, IMA National President Dr JA Jayalal welcomed Prime Minister Modi’s decision. He said, “We welcome the PM's announcement for Covid vaccine for children aged 15-18 and booster dose for healthcare and frontline workers.”

Sharing his input on bettering vaccine programs for children, Dr JA Jayalal said, “I have written to the PM, suggesting that paediatricians and family physicians should be utilised in vaccinating children.”
