ITBP PRO Vivek Pandey on August 12 shared details on Kinnaur landslide and informed that the HRTC bus wreckage is seen spread over 100 meters of area in the middle of the rubble. He said, “Rescue operations halted for last 2 hrs due to shooting stones from uphill. At present, the national highway is closed. HRTC bus wreckage is seen spread over 100 meters of area in the middle of the rubble”. A heavy landslide occurred on the Reckong Peo-Shimla highway in the Kinnaur district on August 11.
