Rajendra Arlekar took oath as the new Governor of Himachal Pradesh at Raj Bhawan in Shimla on July 13.
Former Speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly Rajendra Arlekar appointed as Governor of HP on July 6. Chief Justice of the Himachal Pradesh High Court, Justice Ravi Malimath, administered the oath of office and secrecy to Rajendra Arlekar.
He replaced Bandaru Dattatraya. Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur attended the oath-taking ceremony.
