Toxic foam floats on River Yamuna in Delhi

A thick layer of toxic foam was seen floating on the surface of river Yamuna in the national capital. Pollution levels have increased in Delhi. Attributed to the high phosphate content of the water, the thick foam is also caused due to the dumping of waste. People living in nearby areas are facing many problems.
