UP Relief Commissioner Ranvir Prasad on July 12 said that Rs 4 lakh ex-gratia to be provided to the kin of those who lost their lives due to due to lightning.
“41 people have died due to lightning strike across 16 districts and 30 people were injured. Rs 4 lakh ex-gratia each will be provided to the kin of the deceased. All the injured will get proper medical treatment. At least 250 animals died, 20 got injured”, said Ranvir Prasad.
