Kerala has been battered by incessant rain for the past few days, leading to a river overflowing in the Balal village of Kasaragod district. Several roads, and bridges have been inundated. Landslides have also been reported in several areas.
The Regional Meteorological Department has issued a ‘red alert’ for various districts of Kerala.
