Floodwater entered roads and fields, submerging many areas of the Sangli district in Maharashtra. The locals alerted passersby. "The situation is not okay. The water is receding towards Samdoli now. Many cars are also stuck here. Giving the current situation, the rescue team should come here," said a local.
