Sports was never part of the plan, says Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra

India’s star athlete Neeraj Chopra created history on Saturday by bringing home the gold medal in javelin throw in the Tokyo Olympics. Neeraj said that he never thought that his journey which started from weight loss would bring him to an Olympic gold medal win. He thanked the sports authority for continuing their training camp during the pandemic. Chopra dedicated his medal to P.T. Usha and Milkha Singh and said that it was their hard work that inspired him through the journey.
