Voters’ enrolment camp in Kodagu

ZP CEO and District SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) programme chairperson K Lakshmi Priya stated in a press release that voter enrolment camps will be organised in the district from March 5 to 7.

The special camp will be held in Madikeri taluk on March 5, in Somwarpet taluk on March 6 and in Virajpet taluk on March 7, from 11 am onwards. In the second phase of the camp, voters’ awareness jatha will be held in Madikeri on March 8, in Somwarpet on March 11 and in Virajpet on March 12 in the jurisdiction of every gram panchayat.

Booth-level officers, gram panchayat staff, panchayat development officers, asha and anganwadi workers, government school head teachers and teachers will take part in the enrolment drives and awareness jatha.
