Earthquake of 6.4 magnitude strikes Shijak in Albania

An earthquake of magnitude 6.4 struck 10 km (6 miles) northwest of Shijak, Albania, the US Geological Survey said.

The quake, at a depth of 10 km, hit at 0254 GMT on Tuesday. There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
