Fire hits site housing Abu Dhabi National Oil Company operations after drone strike

Abu Dhabi authorities are responding to ⁠a fire in ⁠the Ruwais ‌Industrial ​Complex after a drone attack, the emirate's government ​media ⁠office said on Tuesday, adding there were ⁠no ‌injuries.

The complex houses Abu ‌Dhabi National ⁠Oil Company (ADNOC) facilities that can refine ‌up ‌to 9,22,000 barrels ‌of ‌oil per day and serves as the ⁠central ⁠hub for the emirate's downstream operations, including significant chemical, fertiliser, ​and industrial gas plants.
